Local Radio Stations The following listing of radio stations was complied from several different state EAS Plans. We take no responsibility for the accuracy of this data. We have posted this information to help you determine a local radio station that you may tune your Sentinel to in order to receive emergency messages broadcast for your area utilizing the EAS system. These stations have been designated as Local Primary stations in the State Emergency Alert System plan submitted to the FCC. In the event you do not have a dependable 24 hour public oriented station that you rely on for emergency information, you may want to consider tuning your Sentinel to the LP1 or LP2 stations for your county/parish. Remember, the radio station must send the familiar sounding EAS burst in order for the Sentinel to sound the alarm. Since State EAS plans can change, as well as radio station assignments, you should contact the local radio station that you decide to tune your Sentinel to in order to determine what counties/parishes they service as well as what type of EAS messages they will issue for your county/parish. Remember, the radio station must send the familiar sounding EAS burst in order for the Sentinel to sound the alarm. If you have any questions on the EAS system or how the Emergency Alert Sentinel works, please feel free to contact us by e-mail at info@asi.industries.com or by phone at 800-382-9686.
