Install the batteries, and place the radio in the RESET mode. |

Set the Volume to a level that is loud enough to alert you in an emergency. |

Close the back, place the radio in the READY mode and locate the radio in an area where it
can alert you in the event of an EAS broadcast. |
The tuning and volume controls
are concealed in the rear battery compartment to prevent accidentally changing the
settings.
No county codes to program, no event codes to program! The idea behind the Sentinel is to
provide you with LOCAL information, who better to provide that
information to you than your local information source. By tuning the radio to the station
you depend on for information, this eliminates the need for programming county FIPS codes
and event codes.
